PROFESSIONAL BOXER AND METABOLIC MEALS CUSTOMER, DEVON ALEXANDER, WILL BE DEFENDING HIS WORLD TITLE IN BROOKLYN.

(December 2013) Devon Alexander, professional boxer and long-time customer of Metabolic Meals, is defending his world title in Brooklyn, New York on December 7, 2013. Alexander, weighing in at 147 lbs., has been a nutrition, training and conditioning client of Metabolic Meals since 2012.

In 2012, Devon and his coach, Kevin Cunningham, asked Metabolic Meals to come up with a custom nutrition plan to help Devon properly move up to 147 lbs. A lot of science went into Devon’s meal plan, and it was based on the following goals: Increase Alexander’s muscle mass, maintain his muscle mass through training camp, and keep him healthy through training camp.

“Using what we know about the science of food, we were able to create a strong diet plan to help meet Devon’s goals,” said Jason Barbour, President of Metabolic Meals. “We helped to increase his intake of grass-fed proteins, cycled his carbohydrates properly, and took gluten out of his diet. The transformation has been astounding.”

Additionally, Alexander has been training with Barbour through an intense strength & conditioning regimen. Fixing strength imbalances and improving relative strength has been the main focus of his training. On many key lifts, Alexander has improved 50-60%.

“We are proud of everything Devon Alexander has accomplished over the last year. We know that Devon will go into his title fight in the best shape of his life!” added Barbour.
